Ken Lubin and I had a great conversation this week on his fantastic Executive Athletes podcast. We talked about the aspects of being a competitive figure skater, in a subjective, individual and “artistic” sport that uniquely prepared me to be a leader and woman in business and how I draw from this formative training as an athlete to continuously grow and improve in all aspects of life and in service to my clients. It was fun to share my passion for all kids having access to diverse sports opportunities, especially girls, because sports make better humans and do the upstream work of developing future leaders. We also shared how we involve our daughters in our work to inspire and teach them and how WFH now creates that opportunity in a consistent way.
Check out the EA podcast -it is a treasure of wisdom and storytelling from an impressive and diverse line-up with a refreshing conversational tone.
